Why We Built This Site
Texas law opens many government records, but it does not place every Wichita County record in one database. WCSO controls county booking and custody data. Court clerks preserve filed charges, dockets, and outcomes. The Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division maintains the statewide history repository, while TDCJ tracks state custody and parole. The Texas Public Sex Offender Registry serves its own public-safety role. We organize the verified contacts, request routes, fees, and official search links that connect those offices.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, not part of a Texas court, police department, sheriff's office, or state agency. Our role has clear limits:
- We do not retrieve criminal records or perform official checks
- We cannot submit a records request, expunction petition, or court filing for a visitor
- We do not issue certified case documents, rap sheets, or jail records
- We cannot interpret a charge or give advice about a specific case
- We cannot promise that an agency will never change a fee, address, hour, or process
An official copy must come from the Wichita County custodian or Texas DPS. We can identify that source, but only the source can issue the record.
